Geranium
The part of the plant used is the leaves and branches. Pelargonium graveolens is the most important of all geraniums; this oil is used extensively in perfumery. The odor is very powerful: green, leafy, rosy with a pronounced fruit/mint undertone. The dried-out bouquet has a rich, long-lasting, sweet-rosy aroma.
Geranium is used in massage oils, perfumes, bath oils and diffusers.
It is said to help clear the body of toxins, which may be helpful for addictions. Geranium can be used as an aromatic insect repellent.
WARNING: May cause irritation on sensitive skin. Best avoided during pregnancy.
